Nina Mason Pulliam EcoLab at Marian University, 3200 Cold Spring Road

Family – $10, Individual – $3, Under 6 – free

Let nature be your teacher as you explore the world in a variety of fun and unexpected ways. Families will be engaged with technology, photography, hiking, crafting and more as they learn about the uniqueness of central Indiana’s nature scene. On Saturday, April 27th from 9:00 a.m. – noon, the EcoLab will present a photography workshop geared especially toward those who enjoy posting pictures on social media sites and who would like to learn how to make those pictures better. Bill Foley will lead the photography workshop with the EcoLab as the primary subject as part of the IndyTalks series. It will be fun for the whole family, but we especially encourage you to bring your middle and high school age kids who spend a good deal of time on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Bring your Apple or other photo-enabled portable devices and plan to spend time outside. Meet at the Nina Mason Pulliam Nature Center in the Basement of Allison Mansion. Family: $10, Individual: $3 and Under 6: free. To register, contact Janice Hicks Slaughter at jhslaughter@marian.edu, or 317-524-7701. We hope you will join us and tell your friends too!
